Brand new in 2008, this spectacular top floor apartment with balcony and extra-large terrace all on one level has been furnished to provide comfortable accommodation for four people, with satellite TV, internal telephone and free Wi-Fi internet access. Ideally located not just for golf courses but also for visiting different parts of the Murcia region, and the beaches of the Mar Menor.
A spacious 2-bedroom/1-bathroom apartment on the 3rd floor accessible by stairs and large lift, with a balcony and wrap-around sun terrace. Air conditioning & radiator heating throughout make it an ideal choice for any time of the year. The balcony overlooks the pools and garden. The terrace gives you views of the clubhouse and driving range and further country and mountain views to the south, and overlooks the gardens and pools with glimpses of the mountains to the north.
Even if you are not a golfer this resort offers fantastic facilities for a relaxing holiday with easy access to the surrounding area, its many towns and villages, and the beaches of the Mar Menor.
La Torre is only 20 minutes from the Mar Menor. This saltwater lake, formed by volcanic activity, is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The beaches at Santiago de La Ribera and Los Alcazares offer superb facilities with easy parking along the various promenades. The water remains a degree or two warmer than the Mediterranean throughout the year, and offers shallow water for safe bathing, and a number of sailing, diving and water sports centres.
It’s a popular area for walking, cycling and horse-riding. La Torre is also situated just 45 minutes from the Parque Natural Sierra Espuna, so you can spend a day in the mountains! La Torre, being centrally placed in Murcia, offers a number of “days out” to historic cities, museums, art galleries, festivals and entertainment, just 25 minutes from Murcia City and 30 minutes to the historic port of Cartegena.
For golfers there are a large number of other courses just a short drive away. At La Torre, the golf course offers a natural grass driving range with 20 bays, putting and chipping green and a practice bunker.

Bicycle hire is available at the supermarket for both adult and child bikes.
The apartment accommodates 4 people very comfortably. Both the balcony and the terrace have a patio table & 4 chairs to give you a choice of sun or shade during the day. We have also provided additional sun-loungers, plus 2 picnic chairs, cool box & cool packs for your days out. There is a storage room off the terrace which can be used to store suitcases and golf clubs.
La Torre is a gated community and offers residents and guests an extremely safe environment. It is beautifully landscaped with wide boulevards and plenty of car parking near the apartment and guests can also use a designated underground car parking space.
As well as the 18 hole par 68 golf course, there are tennis courts which can be booked.
The apartment is just a couple of minutes’ walk from the resort town centre which has been built beside a large (artificial) lake. The centre has a number of restaurants, bars, beauty salon, bank and taxi office. There is an entertainment programme during July and August. La Torre is situated 20 minutes from the capital city of Murcia, 15 minutes from the historic port of Cartegena, and 15 minutes from the Mar Menor.

The lounge area has a 3-seater settee and a 2-seater settee in chocolate brown leather, plus matching pouffe. The extra large satellite TV has 52 English channels and 26 Spanish channels, and a DVD player that also plays audio CDs and MP3 CDs. The apartment has an internal telephone so you can book restaurants and tee times. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is available in the apartment (you need to bring your own laptop/phone/smartphone).
The dining area contains an extending table and four chairs. The separate kitchen contains a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, cafetiere, coffee maker, and fitted oven and hob. The utility area has a washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board. We have also provided a cool box plus cool packs and 2 picnic chairs for days out.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside table and drawers, and a built-in wardrobe with additional drawers. The view from the patio doors is across to the golf course and driving range and further to distant hills.
The second bedroom contains two 3ft single beds, bedside tables and a built-in wardrobe with additional drawers. The view from the patio doors is over the garden and swimming pools.
The bathroom has a full bath with overhead shower, plus washbasin, toilet and bidet. There is a hairdryer for guest use.
The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, hob and oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, cafetierre, kettle, toaster and teapot. There is a separate laundry area with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Duvets, pillows, sheets and apartment towels are provided. Towels for the pool and beach are available at €2 each, payable locally. Welcome packs can also be arranged. For the benefit of all users, the apartment is for non-smokers only and pets are not allowed.
A number of low-cost airlines fly direct to Murcia (San Javier) airport from regional UK airports throughout the UK, and the apartment is only a 20 minutes drive when you arrive. All year round flights are also available into Alicante, which is approximately 50 minutes’ drive. But the roads are good and the drive is easy. We can provisionally reserve your holiday dates for up to 24 hours to enable you to book the best flights. We can arrange transfers if you don’t want to hire a car (payable locally). Although you can holiday without a car, hiring one helps to make the most of the area. We use Coys Rent A Car for our car hire. With them you know what you are paying when you book with no extras added on at the airport. But cheaper options are available. By hiring a car you can experience much more, including other golf courses in the area, local villages, fiestas, wine tours, the Sierra Espuna, the city of Murcia and the towns of Cartegena and Lorca, the WaterPark and Zoo, organised walking tours, horse-riding, white water rafting, etc. There is so much to see and do within quite short journeys, with something for everyone!

Bookings can be made to and from any day of the week and for however many days you require (4 nights minimum). An additional €70 is payable for all bookings to cover the laundry, apartment preparation and daytime Meet and Greet, irrespective of the length of the booking. Late arrivals after 10pm will incur an extra €20. Prices include radiator heating & air conditioning throughout (we do not use guest meters).
Our apartment is listed with Owners Direct so you can use their booking tools shown below. Using these tools, your payments can be made by credit card and your holiday is safeguarded.
