Los Miradores del Puerto, La Manga del Mar Menor, Costa Calida. First floor 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment, sleeping up 6. Air conditioning & under floor heating. Facing south-west, the balcony has amazing views over the Tomas Maestre Marina and El Estacio, with spectacular sunsets. Small local fishing boats, as well as yachts, sailing boats and cruisers, use the canal and the new bridge opens every 2 hours, depending on the time of year, to let tall sailboats and large vessels through. The balcony is equipped with a patio table and 6 chairs for al-fresco dining.
The sun hits the apartment at lunchtime, and you can enjoy it until you watch it set over the Mar Menor! There is a supermarket and several cafe/restaurants within a short walk and, although the apartment is not designated for the disabled, there is ramped access to nearby beaches (Mar Menor 500m, and the Mediterranean 350m), and from the car parking area to the apartment building and swimming pools, with a large lift to our apartment on the first floor.
Located in the north of La Manga del Mar Menor, this is a quiet area just across the new El Estacio bridge. The complex of six widely-spaced apartment blocks has a swimming pool, toddlers’ pool and paddle-tennis court. It’s just a short walk to the beaches, and a few minutes in the car, or by local bus (3Km), to further beaches with a superb choice of water activities.
The Marina, a 25-minute walk (or 3 minute drive) away, has a ‘café lifestyle’ with a multitude of bars and restaurants with international and Spanish menus. Many have children’s dishes available. Days out on the Mar Menor and Mediterranean can be organised from here, depending on the time of year, also scuba-diving. A ferry runs from the Marina to Santiago de la Ribera (San Javier), docking right on the beach!

If you fancy a change there are rocky coves in the Calblanque nature reserve to the south of La Manga.
The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with quality fixtures and fittings. It is fully airconditioned, and has radiator heating throughout.
The lounge/dining room has views over the balcony to the marina in the distance. It is equipped with a 3-seater settee, which opens out into a double bed, suitable for 2 small adults or children, plus an additional two-seater settee. The 32″ TV receives UK channels and satellite programs. There is free Internet/WiFi.
There is a DVD player, plus a radio which plays audio CDs and MP3 CDs. The dining area has an extending table and six dining chairs.
The kitchen contains a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, and a fitted oven and hob. A separate adjoining laundry area contains a drying rack, iron and ironing board, and washing machine with a 1200 spin speed.
The main bedroom has patio doors onto the main balcony and contains a king-size bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a built-in wardrobe with additional drawers. There is also a key-operated safe in the wardrobe.
The second bedroom has patio doors to its own south-facing mini-balcony, also with views over the marina. The bedroom contains two 3ft single beds, chest of drawers, bedside table and a built-in wardrobe with additional drawers.
The beds in both the bedrooms have comfy mattresses (replaced in 2016).
There are two bathrooms. The main bathroom has a full bath/shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet. The second bathroom has a washbasin, toilet and a recently added shower cubicle.

Prices include all airconditioning and heating as required. We do not use guest meters. There is a charge of £65 for cleaning, laundry & Meet and Greet plus an additional charge of £9 per person if the bed-settee is used for 5th/6th person. Quilts, blankets, pillows, sheets and towels are provided. Please bring your own towels for the beach and pool. Sheets and bath towels are changed free of charge after two weeks for non-discounted winter bookings of three weeks or more. There is a washing machine with a high spin-speed in the apartment for guest use at no charge. High chairs, cots and welcome packs can be arranged and paid for locally. We only allow non-smokers, and pets are not allowed.
A number of low-cost airlines fly direct to Murcia (San Javier) Airport from Birmingham, Manchester and other UK airports, but these do change depending on the time of year. We take bookings from and to any day of the week so you can take advantage of the best travel rates, and you can also book long and short breaks. Although we recommend having a car we can arrange transfers if you don’t want to hire a car. Transfer fees are payable on arrival. There is a local bus if you want to venture down the La Manga strip. There is lots to see and do further afield if you do hire a car. We have used Coys Rent A Car for our car hire. With them you know what you are paying when you book with no extras added on at the airport. By hiring a car you can experience much more – there is so much to see and so many beaches and activities accessible within quite short journeys. Our representative meets you personally and hands over the keys to the apartment. We give you clear instructions on how to find our representative and the apartment. This is our Meet and Greet service (which is included in the price for all daytime arrivals). You will be given the full address of the apartment, plus the telephone number of our representative to contact if you have any problems during your stay. Arrival packs with basic foodstuffs can also be arranged (paid for locally).

Our apartment is listed with Owners Direct so we can use their booking tools shown below. Payments can be made by credit card and your holiday is safeguarded.
