A very spacious and comfortable apartment with marina and sea views, suitable for couples and families.
Los Miradores del Puerto, La Manga, Costa Calida. A first floor spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment, sleeping up 6. Air conditioning & under floor heating. The apartment is south-west facing, with spectacular views overlooking the Canal de El Estacio (the waterway joining the Mar Menor to the Mediterranean) and the Marina opposite.
The sun hits the apartment at midday, and you can enjoy it until you watch it set over the Mar Menor! There is a supermarket and two restaurants within a short walk and, although the apartment is not designated for the disabled, there is ramped access to nearby beaches (Mar Menor 500m, Mediterranean 350m), and from the car parking area to the apartment building and swimming pools, and a large lift to all floors.
Located in the north of La Manga del Mar Menor, in a quiet area just across the new El Estacio bridge, the complex of six widely-spaced apartment blocks has a swimming pool, toddlers’ pool and paddle-tennis court. Activities nearby include a superb choice of water activities, and Golf Veneziola (a 9-hole golf course) is only 3Km away. The Marina, a 25-minute walk (or 3 minute drive) away, has a ‘café lifestyle’ with a multitude of bars and restaurants including French, Greek, Mexican and Spanish, with children’s dishes available. Days out on the Mar Menor and Mediterranean can be organised from here, depending on the time of year, also scuba-diving. A ferry runs from the Marina to Santiago de la Ribera (San Javier), docking right on the beach! Why not visit the 7km-long beach at Los Alcazares.
The well-known La Manga Golf Club is a 30minute drive away and if you fancy a change there are rocky coves in the Calblanque nature reserve to the south of La Manga.
Facing south-west, the balcony has tremendous views over the Tomas Maestre Marina and El Estacio. Small local fishing boats, as well as yachts, sailing boats and cruisers, use the canal and the new bridge opens every 2 hours to let tall sailboats and large vessels through. The balcony is equipped with a patio table and 6 chairs for al-fresco dining.
Apartment Description
The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with quality fixtures and fittings.
The lounge/dining room has views over the balcony to the marina in the distance. It is equipped with a 3-seater settee, which opens out into a double bed, suitable for 2 small adults or children, plus an additional two-seater settee. The 32″ TV receives UK channels and satellite programs. There is free Internet/WiFi. Also a DVD player, plus a radio which plays audio CDs and MP3 CDs. The dining area has an extending table and six dining chairs. 
The kitchen contains a very large fridge/freezer, plus a microwave oven and a fitted oven and hob. A separate, adjoining laundry area, contains a drying rack, iron and ironing board, and a recently installed washing machine with a 1000 spin speed.
The main bedroom has patio doors onto the main balcony and contains a king-size bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a built-in wardrobe with additional drawers.
The second bedroom has patio doors to its own south-facing mini-balcony, also with views over the marina. The bedroom contains two 3ft single beds, chest of drawers, bedside table and a built-in wardrobe with additional drawers.
The beds in both the bedrooms have firm mattresses plus mattress toppers, giving guests a choice of comfort. There are two bathrooms. The main bathroom has a full bath/shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet. The second bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet.

Additional Information
There is a charge of £55 for cleaning, laundry & Meet and Greet plus an additional charge of £10 for bedlinen if the bed-settee is used for 5th/6th person. Blankets, pillows, sheets and towels are provided. Please bring your own towels for the beach and pool. Sheets and bath towels are changed free of charge after two weeks for bookings of three weeks or more. There is a washing machine with a high spin-speed in the apartment for guest use at no charge. High chairs, cots and welcome packs, together with additional cleaning or laundry during your stay can be arranged and paid for locally. Non-smokers only, and pets are not allowed.

Here are directions to find the apartment from the airport.
A number of low-cost airlines fly direct to Murcia (San Javier) Airport from Birmingham, Manchester and other UK airports, but these do change depending on the time of year. We take bookings from and to any day of the week so you can take advantage of the best travel rates, and you can also book long and short breaks. Depending on the type of holiday you are looking for, a car is not essential, but we recommend hiring a car to make the most of the area. If you would prefer to arrange transfers to and from the airport you may find this website useful, or contact us for our recommended shuttle service. There is an office for car and bicycle hire on the approach road to the Marina. We provide an apartment meet and greet service, full details of which are given when booking, and a telephone number of the local housekeeper to contact if you have any problems during your stay. Arrival packs with basic foodstuffs can also be arranged (paid for locally).
